Breda and Michael's vintage style wedding in Dublin town.

Breda and Michael's vintage style wedding in Dublin town.

As promised here are some more shots from Breda and Michael's amazing vintage wedding.

I don't know where to begin with this wedding. I just loved every inch of it. Breda and Michael didn't stick to traditions and created a day that reflected who they are. Their passion for music, film and style inspired their venues, details and style.

Their style just blew me away. Breda had her dress and cape made by 'flossy and Dossy' in Glasgow. I have never seen a bride in a mini skirt and cape, truly unique and to die for. They both look like they had just stepped out of a classic 60's movie. With this in mind Breda and Michael were happy to try out some unconventional and perhaps cinematic portraits. Their first look was in an empty pub beer garden. We ventured down dark city alley ways and into dusty old snooker rooms. I was in my element.

Thanks so much to Breda and Michael for letting me be part of this incredibly stylish wedding. You were a joy to work with.

A tiny peak at Breda and Michael's retro wedding in the heart of Dublin City.

A tiny peak at Breda and Michael's retro wedding in the heart of Dublin City.

My last wedding of 2016 and it could very well be my favourite. What a way to end the year. When I first spoke with Breda and Michael the word 'music' was mentioned more than 'wedding' or even 'photographs', I knew this was a good sign. Im a big music fan and talking to them felt like I had met old friends. Michael is a musician and Breda is a music blogger. They are warm and sincere with a strong sense of themselves and this comes through in their amazing sense of style. I have never seen a bride on a mini dress or a cape, I was blown away. I am so glad that I got to be part of this day, Thanks guys.

I can't wait to get started on the rest of the edit, particularly the first look. Watch this space for more.

A winters wedding on the beach!

A winters wedding on the beach!

This incredibly relaxed couple didn't even think they wanted a photographer. However, Sophie was compelled (thankfully) to give me a call. Their ceremony was taking place at 4 pm in December (pitch dark!) and they were having trouble planning their day. So after a bit of a chat and some wedding day remolding I suggest a first look at the Forty foot before the ceremony. Much to my surprise they agreed and hired me. It was cold! really cold! but we had fun. The ceremony took place in the stunning UCD Newman Church on the green, followed by pints in 'Neary's' pub and dinner in 'Fallon and Byrne'. You couldn't get more 'Dublin 'than that!
